TinyMaker status - the browser extension that shows your TinyMaker printer on the toolbar. Effective 24 September 2026.
In short
The extension talks only to your own printer, on your own network. It collects no personal data, sends nothing to us or to anyone else, and has no analytics, ads or tracking.
What it connects to
Only the printer address you enter in the extension's options (for example 192.168.1.138 or tinymaker.local).
About once a minute, and when you open the popup, it reads the printer's status (GET /api/status). It never sends commands to the printer and never changes anything on it.
Chrome asks you to allow access to that one address when you press Save. The extension has no access to any other website.
What it stores
The printer address, your theme choice and the last status it read (so the popup opens instantly).
All of it stays in your browser's extension storage on this device. Removing the extension deletes it.
What it does on web pages
On your printer's own dashboard page it sets one invisible marker, so the dashboard knows the extension is installed and hides its "Browser extension" link. It reads nothing from the page.
Open dashboard looks through your open tabs only to find the printer's dashboard and switch to it instead of opening a second one. Tab addresses are not stored or sent anywhere.
Sharing and sale of data
No data leaves your computer, so nothing is sold, shared or transferred to third parties.
